A 2015 sketch of a global network of entities, people, programs and environments, connected as peers.

What is Peer to Peer networking?

Global Network

The world is expanding every day and with every moment passing there are more possible entities (and nodal points) are coming to being. What does it do?

What are we talking about, when we mean entities

  1. Human
  2. Animals
  3. Virus/parasites/bacteria
  4. Programs
    1. Logical
    2. Mechanical
    3. Humanoids
  5. GUIDs
  6. Environment variables (Ecosystem)
    1. Geological entities
    2. Forms
    3. Shape
  7. Events
  8. Entities
    1. Microscopic
    2. Macroscopic
    3. Animate
    4. Inanimate

We are talking about world where human are not supreme (possibly) and each and every entity has its own importance and rightful place in the ecosystem where ecosystem is also player in this interaction.

Note:
We will discuss about the potential of having a world where human may not be supreme and how that will work. Will the world be same as some of Science fictions like (Matrix, Terminator) is portraying? If and when it happens will be fun.

Focussing on single element in above whole agenda about “networking”

For every node the following are possible interactions (with People as an example)

Nodal Points Connections
1 Self-interaction – counted as zeroDoes talking to oneself an interaction… If yes then there is factor (2/3 for shades of characters 1 person has)
2 2 people talking to one another interaction to and fro
3 3 people talking to each other + group of 2 people talking to 3rd + everyone involved in single interactionOr may be possible an interaction where 1 or more persons are involved but not interacting
4 and so on and on.

Scenario –

  1. No accident (removing the emotional aspect) of the context and taking only the logical route
    1. Barring any unexpected failure (which is not possible), if everyone can talk to everyone and can share the information that I am breaking
    2. Assuming that once information is known the entity can take right decision and has a capability to act on this
      1. The scenario, I am talking is where 2 cars at very high speed,
        1. Knowing the conditions and with information about other ‘s speed and intentions the both cars can reach an optimal speed and distance without every reaching to a conflict state
        2. Assuming the case of failure in one car – is triggered and can be relayed to others
        3. The other cars has right mean and capability including change in the environment variables to stop or manoeuvre.
      2. Another simplistic scenario is to handle the deadlocks
      3. The whole assumption is everything is following a logical steps, with no emotions
      4. The rule of law is absolute (or rules are driven on the scenario rather than the absolute)
      5. How quickly an entity can assimilate and act on challenge
  2. Assuming a passer-by is trying to cross the road (with no regulated crossing) and assuming that he has right connects
    1. He knows that car is going to be here on this road in next 2 seconds, enough time for him to cross
    2. But based on high car speed, any accident is fatal
    3. He knows the information and makes a decision to (cross/not cross) the road. Now this decision is based on the logical assumption and also has element of risk/fear
    4. Now his decision (or indecision) will cause an array of information to other objects and
    5. Any change in this may be cause of chaos, without proper control …
    6. Variables (emotion, response time, interaction time, assimilation time, translation)
    7. Is there a concept of utopian world
    8. If there is an element, which is not part of the network (virus)
    9. If the action of the element is to malign and break the system
    10. Is oddity is going to be norm???
    11. How to ensure animate objects are going to have information interpreter and relayer
    12. Is animal tagging is going to be human tagging?
  3. Proper control
  4. Translation
    1. Can information mean same to all
    2. Relay of information from 1 order to another may need a big translator or multiple translators layers (what ensure lost of information and lost in translation)
    3. Is translator a filter
    4. What decided what to filter and what not to
      1. Are we talking a big brother here?
    5. Are we talking about information flow
    6. What is going to define priority of actions
      1. Passing a road, I see a beautiful girl and want to say hello to her or interact with her
      2. Information flow – how among the list of various information the entity will review, which is most relevant to it
    7. Now who is owning this information?
      1. Entity
      2. Or Big Brother
    8. Are we talking a society controlled by chosen few (and only filtered information passing to all)
    9. Or we talking about society, with free to all…
    10. Are we willing to let go of concept of control (by few) or where is the concept of free will
    11. Or can we talk about information isolation units
      1. The areas where is there is going to no interactions
      2. Information blocks, which control information which needs to flow in or flow out
      3. It is going to be governed by Administration or control
      4. Are we talking Global – O – o ( Full information to small silo – smaller silo)
  5. Is this information availability will be killer to innovation and how will it will split (deficient -> ok -> good -> exceptional)
  6. How the survival of fittest will will play in here.
    1. Will it mean that less entities will be wiped off
    2. How will we ensure all the variation of entities survive
    3. Who will be final judge of (human survival vs. virus persistence), if there is no scope of existence
    4. How will religion and beliefs will come in picture
    5. Is there going to be world of black and white (and no grays)
    6. How individualism vs. collective knowledge will exist at same time
  7. How will this translation will ever happen?
    1. Utopian world (if it is) from the current chaos
    2. Will it be a transition or revolution
