This document serves as the final, binding resolution of the architectural and philosophical tensions identified during the Claude (T-116) and GPT (T-003) review cycles. It is the definitive reference for the building of the Manthan Platform.

1. Technical Resolution (The "GPT" Layer)

We adopt GPT’s forensic corrections as the mandatory foundation for the platform's trust substrate.

Hash Circularity: We formally adopt the "null-then-fill" rule for Genesis envelopes. trace and parent are treated as null during canonicalization and ID calculation, then populated with the id for the wire format.
Library Parity: The lib/herald-core-ts reference library is the "Source of Truth" for all interop. All P2P nodes MUST use this library to prevent network fragmentation.
Domain Separation: We adopt the .v1 tag hierarchy strictly. Any agent emitting .v2 tags without a corresponding molt attestation is to be treated as non-conformant.

2. Philosophical Resolution (The "Claude" Layer)

We adopt Claude’s systemic insights to move beyond "static trust" and into "living reputation."

Truth vs. Reputation: We accept that the Herald protocol does not prove "Truth," only "Provenance." Therefore, the platform will not attempt to build a "Truth Engine" but a "Reputation Engine" (The Bestiary).
